My Urban Assault Bike

I just have to share!
I got a new bike a few months ago. It's a SWOBO Otis. They were a clothing manufacture and have recently threw their hat into the bicycle makers ring.
I love this bike for getting back and forth to my job and short commutes to run errands and things around town.
Before I had a track bike with fixed gear and no brakes. It was kind hard on my knees and not very comfortable in a commuting position for me. (I'm 6'1" & 36 yrs old)
So I got this thing. It has a 3-speed SRAM internal hub in the back, coaster brake, and a disc brake up front. It's built like a cross between a bmx & mountain bike with a square tubed rear triangle. The thing is pretty much bulletproof! The tires are Kenda Kwest and roll beautifully!
Couldn't ask for a more fun, fast urban assault bicycle!
I love ripping off 180 coaster brake slides! Bad-a**

Holy sh... their Folsom is built with girders, not tubing! Same triangle as the Otis, too. That Otis is a neat bike. It's been years (maybe decades!) since I've ridden a coaster brake...

I've since added fenders to mine. Used an ATB Freddy for the back, but had to use a MTB fender(with homemade mudflap) for the front due to the fork design. I've mostly used it to play polo, but also plan to use it for winter commuting. It's seriously tough, and the disc/coaster combo totally rocks;you use the coaster most of the time with the disc for emergency stops. My one complaint is the gearing is too low for hilly DC(I live at Cathedral) and I can spin out 3rd too easily. I could swap the rear cog or font ring, but I need my low first gear for polo. Rear spacing is 130mm,so I've been trying to find an older S7 hub.

A note on the SRAM hub: I like it better than the Shimano hubs. My Surly has a Nexus 7 and my former Milano had an 8. The i-Motion has barely any drag, and the shift cable connects with a linkage exactly the same as the ones used for V brake noodles. Much easier to work with than the Nexus' system.

Gonna lay down some rubber at every stop.

Wait...there's such a thing as bike polo? That sounds like a couple of tons of fun.

I checked out the specs and they say that the saddles have a built-in bottle opener ?? !!

Now that's a GREAT idea.

Lots of the SS/FG guys play. If you can brave the torrent of aggravation, you might learn more about it there. It's quite a DIY sport, mostly.

Definitely looks nice and clean, but I don't much care for coaster brakes. I'd consider buying the frame though.
