where to get thorn resistant tubes?

I want thorn resistant tube for a 700x 32 tire with presta valve. I am having a hard time finding this. Any ideas where to get them?

Got mine at my local LBS. After a year of use I ran over a large safety needle. Flats suck, tubes that won't take patches suck worse. Since I couldn't get the tube to hold a patch I took it to LBS.My favorite mech put a patch on it. I went back next day and gpt the tube, put tube inside tire. While pumping up tire the patch let go. Bought a set of tire liners and two regular tubes.

If you are having the problem of frequent flats, i recommend a set of kevlar belted tires rather than the thorn tubes or tire liners. If you add either of those, your rolling resistance will increase while your likelihood of a flat will not decrease by much. Products like tuffy liner, have sharp edges that chafe your tube and after some time can cause a flat. If you invest in a tire like the hugely popular in europe, Schwalbe Marathon, you get a thick layer of puncture protection, yet the tire retains the suppleness required for low rolling resistance.

I plan on ordering Schwalbe Marathon plus tires, but was thinking that a thorn resistant tube would be good too. I do not like tire liners as it is just one more thing to deal with. I may just go with regular tubes if thorn resistant tubes won't take a patch

I haven't noticed any difference in rolling resisstance, but then I never ride in a hurry, On retrospect I can understand about the edges, but they're in now, so I hope these ones aren't like the ones you had. They weren't a problem putting in. No flats so far.

Hey, I'd encourage you to try Mr. Tuffy tire liners. I'm not sure what they present that one has to "deal with." I'm also in Tucson, and have had one flat in 16 months and 7,000 miles.

I took a look at one of them recently. There's nothing "sharp" about the edges after 16 months. If anything, they've softened considerably over time. I'm a huge fan of tire liners here in goathead country. They keep me on the road, period.

Performance has 'em.

Weirdly, my local Performance doesn't have Schraeder valve thorn-resistant, though.

Kevlar and thorn-resistant and no flats for months here in Albuquerque -- another state in the "Goat Head Nation." Not the most lively ride, but it beats changing tubes.

I don't notice any rolling resistance with my tubes either. I'm using 700x23's and always keep the pressure up to 120 PSI. Maybe thats why I don't notice any rolling resistance.

I just quit using my Mr. Tuffies. After about 3 months they chaffed my tires so bad they caused an egg-sized bulge in my rear tire where the end of the belt was. The front was beginning to bulge. The liners cut the threads in my tires. My liners are now coiled up in a box in the garage.
