Planet Bike Splash Guard to keep me from drinking dirt
Camouflage Duck Tape to Camouflage the brand (one piece was damage when transporting, thus exposing the brand on Seat tube)
Not seen on picture: a shower cap tucked underneath the nose of the seat as a seat cover just in case.

Close-up of Rear Rack. The Bag is one of those "Dry Bag" available at Wal-Mart. They come in 3 bags (for $10) in 3 sizes and this is the medium size. I tested it by putting couple pieces of tissue paper in the bag and dunking the bag in my bathroom basin and left submerge for 5 minutes or so. It kept the tissue paper dry.

From upper left, CCW: The drybag itself, another drybag (the Large one just in case for a jacket, groceries or what not), rag for bike, general survival/safety/hygiene (as of baby wipe)kit, maps of various places, cable lock for general purpose locking (I have a much heavier lock for more serious stuff), flat repair kit (Duck tape, electrical tape, 2 tubes, 3 tire levers, CO2 inflator, glue patch kit)

I don't really commute to work because it's not quite possible at this time, but I use the bike to go get groceries and nearby restaurants. It works very well so far. I understand the bike is majorly overkill for such operations but I also intended for it to go on some touring hopefully next week if the weather cooperate.

BTW: Everything comes at 37lbs according to my bathroom scale.

Very nice setup. I would look for a better trunk bag. But other then that, A1 setup.

That is a good setup but am inclined to agree that a trunk bag can be beneficial, throw some panniers on there and you are set.

My Truck bag is a $10 solution (actually $3.33 since I got 3 for $10) and it will suffice for now. I really don't commute all that much right now. I don't think it looks too ghetto.

There is a new kind of hose clamp that comes with the butterfly handle. It's available at the Auto parts at Wal-Mart. The coolest thing that it is tool-less.
