Same website, even more useful product. I love headline for article: "Windrider Bicycle Clip Makes You Feel Like a Superhero, Look Like an Idiot"

I wouldn't use it. Looking all the way down at my computer is a lot more distracting than glancing over at my mirror. I really never look at my computer except at the end of my ride. The great thing about a mirror is that it enhances situational awareness; I see every car that's approaching me and can keep an eye on them without looking away from the road.

Nasa spent countless dollars making a pen that would write in a weightless environment, the russians used a pencil. I'll stick with my eyeglass mirror.

Actually I can see this as a great thing for the stoker of a tandem. And not for the rear view, but pointing the cam so it gives a view ahead.

The cost is probably more than I would pay... but, I could see using it if it falls within my price range. Due to limited visibility in my left eye, I don't feel comfortable with eye glass or helmet mounted mirrors, so I have to look down for my mirror anyway. I see the design as useful.
A few comments...
Instead of 32 MB of ram, why not a 2 GB micro-SD like I use in my GPS?
Also, the battery life is pretty limited. Maybe they should use one of the USB ports to have optional dynamo power to bypass, or enhance, or even charge the battery while moving...
Also 2 camera attachments, one to the rear for display and recording, and one to the front for recording... perhaps with optional looping to save the most recent 30 minutes, or hour, or whatever time period works best with the amount of storage available.
