my new bike
My first quality bike. '07 FX 7.5 trek. I got a good deal on it, and it sure is a lot better than my walmart psuedo mountain bike..

Nice looking bike, congrats. Nice fenders too, Planet Bike?
|
yes, they are planet bike. they work really well.
|
very cool. Like those wheels. I'll be interested how they hold up for you.
Cheers |
Whoa! Thats nice! Sweet bike dude! ;)
|
Nice ride... Looking forward for some *action pics*....
Regards |
Nice! Take it off any sweet jumps?
|
great looking bike, not to put a downer on things but what do you weigh, is there a limit on those wheels they dont have many spokes and imo they might not hold up to a daily commute... let us know how you go
Awesome looking bike once again |
I'm guessing the wheels will hold up, after all its a commuting bike!! I just got my trek soho 1.0. Not as good as this bike but damn its a sweet ride. I went to bike to get my hair cut and rode my older bike because I wasn't going to lock it up. HOLY CRAP!! It was the worst commute ever!! To think I use to be comftorable with that bike. I now hate how the shocks are, I hate how the bike isn't positioned. I am getting back on my commuter tomarrow and I am going to love it!!!!

You can Smile Big Time while you ride.
Your Patients will get better faster with that Smile. Nice Bike. |
Jaysus... quick twist the top of the Elmer's! You left it open and it's all going to dry up. You'll be wasting glue dammit.
Sorry, it was a reflex reaction. Nice bike. I have to warn you that those Hard Case Lite tires can be tough to put on. The good news is that you'll probably won't have to worry about that cause they are pretty flat resistant. |
I weigh 194 and decreasing weekly, I have a short 2 mile commute, no problems thus far with the rims. The tires I am not very happy with. too slick for my area. <32 F. this a.m after working nights, and I slipped(spun out) going up a couple of hills. I think they will be fine for summer....

Outfitted and looking very nice.
Might I ask how much tire clearance you have under the rear fender? curious about front too, but we have different forks. What bar ends? |
