While a nice looking frame did you mean to post in the cyclocross forum instead?

EDIT: My mistake, I was in the wrong sub-forum! I thought I was in classic and vintage, D'OH!!!

With the outlet adapter next to the clock it looks like the OP may be outside the US. But I could be wrong...

Very pretty. Keep an eye on those gussets and cable guides. I love my On-One/Planet X Inbred in that same color, but it started rusting in those places the very first month.

I am from Singapore, you guys are sharp. Anyway, I think the shop is trying to clear out on-one and planet x stuff (the legacy of the previous ownership) as they are all on huge discount, I think they are trying to concentrate on the really high end stuff like cervelo, maverick, ceepo, hed (they even stopped bringing in Surly). I MAY be WRONG though.

I don't know about exact shipping charges, but shipping out of singapore cost pretty low anyway (I've shipped out frames before), compared to shipping out from th US or Continental europe.

Very clean looking. I use that same handle bar style. I find it relaxing.

kinda of in a quandary now, torn between road handlebars and flat/riser bars. road: more hand positions for commute cons: expensive brifters, the use of cumbersome cantis | flat/risers: multitude of MTB parts can be used, V-brakes cons: might be uncomfortable for long distance commuting >60k round trip...

since I'm on a budget, mtb parts seem to lead the way....

If you want to go road you can go with bar end shifters which a really pretty cheap compared to brifters.

A great set of handlebars is the On-One Midge. Jack em up high and they give you tons of comfortable positions.

'm not feeling the riser bars, it feels okay atm, but long distance? I don't know...a nitto north road type bar seems on the cards...

still have to source for fenders, racks....and a new wheelset... as the hand me down wheelset is apparently whack....

It is looking good even as it stands.

Note to self: How can I justify the cost of a Brooks saddle to my wife?

Tell her it's for your comfort. If she doesn't care about your comfort all is lost.......

this is it, i'll see how the rack holds up... otherwise this setup gives the most comfy position. wished the bar/stem/post was polished silver though

Wow, I think it looks great!

The black parts you mentioned look really nice against the cream frame. I think once you get some fenders you're just about done!

I think it would look pretty neat with a bar like this:

Nice bike

Did you swap out the Brooks saddle between pics 2 and 3?

The bike looks great! What handlebars are those? I think those might be exactly what I am looking for.

Whoah! How much stuff did you change out and why? From what I can see from the pictures:

New wheels, now silver
New handle bars
New Stem
New Post
Different Brooks (Swallow?)

So you were going for all silver but changed out for black? Except for the wheels?

hi, I was looking hi and low for those over here, but apparently someone bought over the whole (!) stock from the distributor. Also, I can't be half-arsed to buy online because the shipping would easily have made it not a worthy purchase.

ah, unfortunately I can't give you a specific answer. its just some unbranded bar dug out from the store of an old bike shop. But I believe Kalloy makes a similar bar, I've seen it somewhere online. Good luck.
