sadle position problem
Hi all...so i've had my brooks saddle for a couple of weeks now. It's a good saddle, however i'm having one big problem. My sit bones are sitting on the rear frame of the saddle..just above where it says "Brooks". I need to move the saddle further back, but it's already as far back as it can go. The problem is actually bad geometry on the bike..but i can't do much about that. Is there a seat post that angles back a few inches? I figure that should solve the problem.
Thoughts? Ideas?

If your knees are in a comfortable position with respect to your pedals then maybe you should focus on getting the handle bars in the right place. Perhaps a longer stem?

I have the same issue with B17 and Team Pro. Brooks saddles sit further forward than others.
I just got used to sitting on the rear frame.

I tilted the seat up a bit and it seems to have changed my position. I'll know a bit more aftre I take it out for a serious ride

I had the same issue with my B-17 (which by the way, is so lovely I bought a couple of them... now i have to get another bike for the second.)
I got an Easton EA30 seatpost. It has about 25MM layback. I do note that the new EA30 on Easton's site only shows 10MM layback. I got mine at fleabay. Here is a similar (check yer seat tube diameter of course)
EASTON-EA30-ROAD-MTB-SEAT-POST-27-2-X-350MM
anyway, this worked for me. I got mine a few years back and it looks a little different, and cost more... but everything cost more back in the good ole days.
