I have to scrub the heck out of both of them to remove grease.
I am wondering if the color is overrated. Maybe I can find a black jacket with reflective stripes. :p
I think there is a reason so much of my gear is black.

I had little success trying to wash grease off any of my clothes.

I just wear it with pride. :)

With a disco ball jacket you should be riding platforms. :D

Do those come in clipless?

IF and I do mean IF what ever is color fast, try using PineSol in the laundry. My clothes are always getting greasy at work and adding PineSol to the wash does a really good job.

I also heard reports of good success rate with Palmolive dishwahing liquid.

The big wigs started using the same side door as I do, so I figure, I should arrive a little cleaner (just as smelly mind you :p )

Yeah, the Orange stuff that they sell at auto stores called GOJO works well. It's cheap so smear on heavy layer and come back in 30mins...scrub the spot and rinse with hot water...seems to work well.

Madison Pursuit Dry-Tex Jacket... yes, the grease washes out (using Nikwax Liquid Soap). Not only that but any crud thrown up from wet roads just wipes off with a damp cloth.

My 5 year old winter jacket has faded from red to pink so is not exactly high viz but it does have reflective stripes. It can be washed and reproofed using Nikwax TX10. Occasionally I have it dry cleaned to get out stubboprn stains and I reproof it myself. Grease removing handwash removes grease but I only use it before a reproofing wash.
The jacket is still as stormproof and breathable as when I bough it and I expect at least another 5 years of service.
