Computer reset.
Well, my cateye cordless just ticked over from 9999.99 miles to 0.0. In just over 2 years 4 months on that bike.
Have to say the odo reading looks a bit pathetic now. great incentive to rack up the miles though. I think this is the first computer I've had that's managed this, the rest have given up the gost from falls or water penetration. |
Impressive performance, both by you and by the CatEye!

Well, Chewa,
My computer's wiring came apart just before the 10,000 mile mark. I didn't know it was going to turn over! Sounds like we do about the same amount of riding, you and I. |
I never turn it over. I reset the computers on my bikes every January 1st.
Current tally in miles: Road - 2964 SS commuter - 3736 Mountain - 758 |
Same here.
Road - 3022 miles Commuter - 77 (unemployed :( ) |
Bummer. I hope it turns around for you soon and that your next job is within your commuting range.

And how many battery changes over that mileage?.

When it reset, I changed the display battery as doing this resets everything again. I found out that since changing my wheels, the computer was on the wrong setting and I've actually gone further than I thought (and faster) :D |
