Wicking Tees for $10.88!

If you’re looking for moisture wicking tees for a great price; Cabelas has the answer!

I just picked up a couple of these in yellow for the low low price of $10.88.

No need to break the bank or blow your rebate!

Various colors including ANSI yellow, $9.99 at Alertshirt. Everyday price, not a sale. Reflective and lots of other stuff available too.
https://www.alertshirt.com/potmanco.html

Personally I prefer long-sleeve even in the heat of the summer, because it's less nasty sunblock I have to put on.

I actually have preferred short sleeve, but I have a long sleeve wicking alert shirt that I wore on a warmish day recently and after a break, I hit the road, and the breeze from the movement hitting my arms was incredibly cool... I may be a convert to long sleeves.

I would actually like to try a lighter weight long sleeve.

That's a great price for the Alert shirts as well.

However, since I usually wear what I rode in, the softer yellow fits in better with casual wear for work...

Where are you finding the long sleeve wicking shirts? I don' see them at the Cabela or Alertshirt liinks. Those would be a great solution for me.

Thanks in advance.

Here's the the long sleeve page at Alertshirts. The long sleeve material is thin like the T-shirt sytles, so if you are looking for extra warmth... nope.

I picked up a couple wicking T-shirts at Decathlon in France last year for about that price. They're nice.

I've been buying cheap soccer jerseys at Superstore - same material as a bike jersey, but only $17. I just buy two sizes smaller for the same fit as a bike jersey (M soccer = XL bike). Nice colors, and they're half the price of jerseys at MEC and a fifth of the price at the LBSs.

It is a shirt constructed with material designed to draw sweat away from the body and have it evaporate immediately (called wicking). This is as opposed to the typical cotton t-shirt that gets wet and heavy.

All material wicks to a certain extent, it is just emphasized with some matrials.

Target has Champion brand wicking-Ts for $8 short-sleeves and $12 long-sleeves. At least that is what I paid. They had them in white, black, gray and blue. I buy base layer T's one or two sizes smaller than my jerseys so they fit snug. That way they wick better and fit under my jerseys better.

If you're moving, a close-fitting long-sleeve wicking T can be cooler than bare skin, because it has more surface area. I found wearing long sleeve alertshirts last summer in 100* heat to be pretty comfortable.

I just ordered two short sleeve and one long sleeve tee from AlertShirt. I'm glad I thought to search on the term here before I ordered it, I feel much more confident that it will be exactly what I'm looking for!

I'm currently riding in a Nike "SphereDry" long sleeve tee that my wife bought for me last year. It has reflective piping on the back, but the royal blue doesn't stand out the way I want, so I wear a reflective vest over it. The vest, while made of a lime green mesh with the reflective tape over it, breaks up the flow of air to my torso and increases the heat considerably. I'm hoping the AlertShirts will allow me to forego the vest, at least in the spring and summer. I can put it on over my jersey and jacket in the fall and winter, as I'll be thermal'd anyway.

A word of caution about Alertshirt: their sizes run small. Many people buy one or two sizes up to get something that fits properly. If you are a medium, look at buying a size large.

I ordered last night online, and was able to get ahold of them just now to change my order up a size. Thanks for posting this.

I guess the selection at Target stores varies, but I was able to find a pretty obnoxious orange Champion wicking T from my local store. They're not ANSI/ALertShirt orange by any means, but they're pretty bright.

I think the Champion shirts are good VFM. The material feels pretty good - not cotton, but not plasticky like some of them.

WALMART FOR THE WIN! I paid $7.88 a few months ago--lots of different colors. It was a different brand but they're awesome. The fit is perfect for riding with cycling shorts, too.

I saw a *bunch* of close-out Nike dry fit shirts at Nordstrom Rack the other day. I bought a couple; I think they were $12.99 or $14.99 there. Both short and long sleeve. Nice shirts.

Are those any better than the champion duo/dry shirts from target? They are $8 each and I have around 12 so far. The orange ones mentioned above are almost perfect commuting shirts. Very very bright and construction worker like.
