I emailed Sheldon (pbuh) about 6 months ago. I asked his permission to copy the site and to put it on the web once he passed. Of course giving him all credit. I mentioned his failing health and that it would be a shame that all his knowledge might be lost. He told me that that would be fine to copy and post it and that he wanted it to be his legacy.
I'm a bit busy now, but eventually, I plan to go through the site, fix any broken links and typos and place it on the web.

There's frankly nothing morbid or strange in it. Everybody dies, and it's a good idea to take precautions, especially when you have an illness that will eventually kill you, like Sheldon.
Personally, I think we should do a Wiki with the content from Sheldon's website. That way not only will we keep Sheldon's knowledge available to all, but we'll make sure it stays updated and receives more data to fill it.

Morbid? Maybe. I tried to be as sensitive as possible. It took me a while and a couple of rewrites before I sent the email. I sure didn't expect Sheldon's (pbuh) sudden demise and I really don't plan on putting it up any time soon. I was going to sit on it in case it disappears from Harris' site.
I hope it stays on Harris' site but I am willing to put it up if needed.
