Nitto Albatross Bars

I am trying to turn my bianchi s.a.s.s. into a more comfy bike for my girlfriend to ride. I am thinking about swapping out the riser bars with a set of nitto albatross bars to give the bike more of a cruiser feel. Has anyone used these bars before or have a comments about my idea?

^^^
That thread from the Utility forum is about such handlebars. It has good info as well as side by side comparisons.

i use nitto albatross bars on my touring and cargo bikes...they're great bars!!! for me, they actually provide two positions...one that is more upright and another that is more aero and great for hill climbing near the stem...don't let their laid back looks fool you, they're more than just "cruiser" bars...

I almost got the albartross but went w/ these instead: https://www.velo-orange.com/volebaha.html
I don't remember what decided me either way since both are very nice. It may have been that I liked the rise on the left bank better.
I also got the bar-end mount reverse brake levers available from the same site. Just got the new bars and levers on today. They feel and ride nicely and I am glad for the upright posture. The road bars were killing my back on longer rides.
I was a little disappointed (and probably would have had the same problem had I gone w/ the albatross) because I had to get new (longer) brake cable housing that didn't match the original brown. So now I have brown on the shifters and black on the brakes. It doesn't look terrible but it does kinda mis-match. Anyway, if that kind of thing matters to you, it's something to think about when exchanging bars.
