anyone commute with a tricycle

i love to get me a tricycle but i don't have a space for it in my apartment and bringing it up stair can be a pain. leaving it down stair will destroy it in this humid climate. i wonder if anyone have use tricycle for commuting. i love to see people commuting to work and buy groceries with these things instead of the 1 man/woman one big v8 suv society we live in now.

I see a couple of trike-commuters pretty regularly. I was looking into them a bit out of curiosity, the Sun brand ones seem to weigh close to 50# so I don't know how much fun humping one up the stairs to your apt would be.

I tried it on a trike for a few weeks but stopped when the inability to see over traffic got on my nerves. I kept the trike for fun rides.
