Old style city type brake levers?

Dual question. Anyone know if old style city brake levers (like in the Schwinn Suburbans, Murry's, etc) will work with cantilver brakes. And if they do, anyone know a source for them? I'm thinking of new bars that can take either old style city brake levers or the option would be to use those inverse levers from VO

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about... we used to call those suicide levers... they didn't allow the cyclist to get full control of the brakes.

Not those, the ones that look like on the classic 3 speed bikes.
