Lol. I rode up to the library around 7:30..did my thing. Blew out right in front of the library, i had no spare tubes or my pump with me as this is only 4 half miles from the house. Look for any nails , stickers etc...nothing.

Walked it home because i had no cell with me to get a lift. Got lost lol, it's very easy in the lakes area to get lost because it's very confusing with the roundabouts.

anyway my question is can i patch a small tear near the valve stem? I was pretty sure i knew that was what caused the flat to begin with. A week ago i had bought a Blackburn airtower 4. The pump head was extremely hard to remove from the presta valve, i really had to get a good grip on the valve and yank as hard as i could on the head of the pump to remove it. In the back of my head i though i bet that weakend the rubber around the valve. Anyway i replaced it with the joe blow sport, which works better and is cheaper.

so i earned a notch in my cycling belt i guess, good times.

oh the funny thing is people in this town are jerks, i got some rude looking looks from people in cars, and a bunch of teens driving by throwing beer cans out the window and laughing at me on the way home. Then to top it off i saw 2 mormon missionaries on bicycles ride right by me just staring, could have offered some help..i saw they had pump and pack for spare tube on there seat..*******s.

anyway

no repairing valve damage, sorry. I wouldn't trust it even if it works. New tube time buddy.

And yeah, some people just suck.
