A question about Outback Bikes in Atlanta

I am going there on Thursday to buy my first not department store bike to commute with and was wondering if any of you have any opinions or experiences with this LBS?

I don't live in Atlanta any longer, but there's a few LBS I would trust for commuting. I recommend talking to Mike at Intown bikes, and also visiting the shop near Emory at North Decatur and Clairmont.

There's plenty of shops that will sell you anything they have in stock. You always have Performance and REI if all you want to see are lots of bike. But I'd recommend you not shop there unless you know exactly what you're looking for; and even then...

Free Flyte might also be a good one. I've only met them while riding BRAG, but have never been to their store location.
