Alignment...

For the past few weeks I have been feeling like my alignment is off, I have adjusted my handlebars to try and match up with my front tire many times but i still feel like its off. I am wondering if anyone knows a good way to determine if ones bike is aligned and ways to fix. If it matters i ride a 2008 Bianchi San Jose.

More likely your bar is tweeked. try a new bar.

Are you sure YOU are aligned? At one point I was certain that all three of my bikes were out of alignment. All of them "pulled" to the left when I took my hands off the bars. Then I realized that all three couldn't be out of alignment in the same way and took myself to the chiropractor.

Just a thought......

Are you riding with a single pannier? I've noticed that when I use a single pannier, the bike seems to handle a little funny at times...

whats the tell tale sign of handlebars being tweeked?

You can take them off the bike and place them on a known flat surface like a countertop then look for discrepancies between the two ends in relation to the flat surface and each other. Maybe try a couple different positions since I'm sure your bars aren't exactly straight and some curvature to them. I did this with some motorcycle handlebars I thought were slightly tweaked and it proved to be true!
