Help me decide before i pull the trigger

Given that this exists and my size is in stock

https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...estore_ID=1791

Am i silly to still want this one?

https://www.raleighusa.com/bikes/road/sojourn/

$500 dollars difference and the Brooks saddle and tape doesn't sway me, my backside seems to not care what I plant under it.

Both look like they'd get the job done. You can't go wrong.

I don't think you should spend an extra $500 for looks, no matter how awesome that bike looks (and it does look good). The look of any bike becomes ordinary after you've seen it day in and day out.

The 09 Sojourns are going to be 10-15% higher in price. They are out of stock on the 08s (I looked at it really hard before getting my World DBX).

Go for the one you like. Look at it this way, its only 500 bucks, you'll have the bike at least 5 years, thats only an extra $0.28 a day for the sexy!

I say go for it!

The Raleigh has disk breaks, yeah, that's the ticket!

Seriously, have you ridden them both? They may have very different geometry.

I'd go for the Schwinn myself but I don't know your situation.
