Anyone used the Vaude Cycle 25 pannier/back pack?

Anyone have any experience with these? Are they comfortable as a backpack? I had to special order it from UK to US. It was about half the cost of the Arkel Bug. MEC also makes one that didn't seem as nice, for half the price of the Vaude.
