Rain

Well, today was the first day that I brought the rain gear along. It had rained overnight. Everything was very wet. The smell of spring is in the air!

So just wondering what everyone else is doing to get ready for spring?

Do you do anything special.

You know, special prayers, incantations, dances, or special potions?

EDIT: Ok, this post was supposed to go under the "How was the commute today." So I have completely changed it into a new thingy...

Well you have to account for warmer weather AND rain. So I wear the rain jacket with a hood that breathes and light wt rain pants with very little underneath (otherwise you'll get hot). Also get excellent waterproof shoes or shoe covers.

Gore tech pants and jacket and waterproof socks are a must have for the rain. dont need much under them.

Well, spring is a little way off here (July to be precise), but as far as warm weather goes (which will be with us for a while yet), I just get wet and to hell with it. If the rain isn't unbearably cold, just keep a dry change of clothes for when you get to work.

Cleaning, polishing, lubing & adjusting my Summer/fairweather only bikes. I want them to be all spruced up & ready for the first really warm, sunny day. Don
