"Jesus Lives" Bicyclist

Funny thing on my ride in today--I passed a bell ringing cyclist holding up a "Jesus Lives" sign! He was going on the sidewalk on a Brookpark Road bridge, on the wrong side of the road, and I passed within a couple of feet of him. I rang my bell as a salute back.

This was at 8 am in the morning!

I guess conversions can happen at any time.:) Love his enthusiasm, but couldn't help but notice his eccentric method.

I secretly despise cyclists who ride on the wrong side of the road, they introduce unnecessary danger to everyone they pass.

You should have pointed to the other side of the road and shouted "get thee hence, Satan, for it is written: thou shalt not ride against traffic."

One thing I like about being on a bicycle, is I don't get hassled by crazies. Bums don't ask for money, nobody bugs you to wash your car, and jesus freaks assume you're all well and good (or avoid you completely). That's been my observation, anyway. I regularly exchange pleasantries with a local vagabond.

If he keeps riding on the wrong side of the road, he may find himself in the afterlife a bit sooner than he expects.

By comparison with cycling in the US, walking on water was a piece of cake ;o)

That means one of two things or possibly both

1) You are the crazy
2) You are too poor to hassle.

One or more of those are quite possibly true.
