Mutimodal Bike Train, Rockport MA

"When the conductor approached me as I was walking my bike on the platform, I was braced. She told me the 'Head Car" was for bikes, this is what I found. Multi-modal! it does exist! I think that is 18 racks and room for 12 on the yellow tipped car rack style on the right and left."

sweet

People in Rockport can probably afford some f-i-n-e bikes to roll down into Boston too.

I believe that train will be a big hit during leaf peeping season. Probably will have to add more cars. I'll look up a North Station schedule myself.

very nice - now if only the gov't and transport people over here would stop trying to reduce capacity

Love the walk in racks, but unless your with a group of 3 people all getting off at the same station, it seems the car rack style would be a PITA.
