Breezer Bought By Fuji

I saw this in an article--can't remember where but I searched on the internet and confirmed the news. Fuji of America bought them out. They feel they can put Breezers in more stores and that the market for them is improving. They hired Joe Breeze as a consultant.

Good news, I think, if you're a Breezer fan. More Breezers = more transportation cyclists, which could lead to change in this country. That, plus the noted increase in like offerings at LBS's nationwide.

Interesting. I wonder what that means for the LBS here that my wife bought her Breezer from but they don't sell Fujis.

Good news. I've always found Fuji to sell good quality bikes at a a decent price. Breezers are well outfitted, but I've always thought they were a little pricey. Maybe this'll translate to lower overall prices for the Breezers.

Hey--I found an article on this with a bit more news. More news--Joe Breeze plans to (re)introduce Breezer Mountain bikes, too.

Looks like Breezer remains intact, with more capital, in this deal.

Does this mean that BD will be selling M-B Villager's and Uptown's?

I think Fuji bought Kestrel earlier this year as well. They're making some moves.
