or go chrome or anodized since the paint is going to chip anyways.

i would just buy a decent quality rack and have it powdercoated. Im not sure if anyone makes one off the shelf but powdercoating isnt very expensive and is super durable

Not sure where i would go to get a rack powdercoated, but that's what i would do.
