Disc brake, cantilever brake, fender, and rack compatible fork for Cross-check

Is there such a fork that is compatible with disc brakes, cantilever brakes, fenders, and a front rack? I just want the option of having either disc brakes in the front or cantilever brakes and to have the usual Fred setup with fenders and maybe a front rack.

700c and somewhere around 45mm clearance in the front would be great.

surly

for 45mm front, you'd probably be looking at the karate monkey fork.

The Cotic Roadhog fork has most of that. They may sell it separately from their Roadrat frame if you ask.

Thanks for the replies!

The cross-check has a rake of 44mm and a steerer of 300mm. I really have no clue what this means. Would it make a difference that the Karate Monkey has a rake of 43mm and a steerer of 260mm?

The steerer is the top part of the fork. It goes through the headtube and the stem attaches directly to it. The 260 mm length should be long enough, but you may want to contact Surly. Ask them if they've tried it, or what other people have used. They're pretty cool, and you should get a good response.

The only fork I can think of that fits all your requirements is a fork from the Kona Sutra. Kona doesn't offer that fork for sale individually as far as I know, but you can get one with rack and fender eyelets, lowrider mounts, and disc tabs. The Kona Sutra fork is the same one, but it also has canti mounts.

Condor Cycles have that exact spec. fork in CF. I *think* the clearance is for up to 45mm with mudguards/fenders.

Kona makes one, just look at the fork on the Dew series and the Sutra.

Or pretty close to it. Chris King makes a 5mm baseplate(crown race) so, if you use a CK headset, you could use a 395mm fork(much more common than a 400mm) without screwing up your geometry too much. I think Ventana makes +4mm and +7mm crown races as well. I've been thinking about running the IRD lugged cross fork(395mm a-c and a dead ringer for the CC fork) on my CC for the lowrider braze-ons with the CK baseplate.
