I do about 55 miles weekly to work & back...so I'd say about 2500 miles a year?

I ride all my bikes to work at different times depending on my mood that morning, like if I wake up late, I take the road bike, and if I eat a big breakfast, and feel sluggish, I take the 3 speed...etc.

so no exact #'s but it's close to that

I just started riding in July and I have about 600 miles so far (18 miles round trip). Hope to have a lot more next year.

I definitely enjoy talking about it at work when I can't go about goofing off on a bike!

I think there was a thread on this a week or two ago? I don't track my miles these days so I did some arithmetic and came up with some sort of estimate. Too lazy to look it up.

I've got 4670 so far. Hoping to get 6k in this year daily commuting year round on my 93 Gary Fisher Utopia. Full dressed with Front/rear rack, panniers, lights, fenders w/homemade mudflaps, the whole nine yards. I use Nokians in the snow. This is the 2nd best bike I've had. The first was an Austro Daimler that I rode for about 11 yrs until the fork rotted out on me. Then I bought the Fisher. If this one falls apart then it's a Cross-Check. I love those Surly's

I feel like such a weenie. ~1,200 for the year so far. Of course, I am only 1 mile from school so it's not like my primary commute adds much mileage. Most of those miles are trips to friends' houses, grocery runs, etc...

I don't drive and I don't keep track of which miles went where, but I'll be at 11,000 miles so far this year on my ride home tonight.Sounds like alot, but that includes 1800 miles of touring, and riding everywhere, not that hard to rack up the miles like that. All of those miles on a 30 year old bike that I bought brand new in 1978.

I'm coming up on 5000. All but about 100 or so are commute miles. All year, I've driven to work (25 miles rt) maybe 10 times.

I'm at roughly 1600 miles so far this year, no computer on the bike though - the season started in early April when the streets finally cleared up in Toronto, last winter was relentless! I'm inspired by some of the higher-mileage numbers posted, I guess I'll just have to move further away from work! Or not. Current doing about 15 miles RT on a mid-eighties Mielie road bike.

I was really hoping to exceed the 16,000 km I rode last year but an injury slowed me down quiet a bit and I have only managed to log 6000 km since March and prior to the injury rode 600 in January.

The new job sees me riding 40 plus km a day so my monthly mileage should be in the 1000km range and I should hit nearly 9000 km by the end of the year.

I was hoping to ride 20,000 km but we'll make that next year's goal.

5740 commuting miles this year including today. 9237 km

Next year will be a lot less. Soon, I am moving to a place only a mile from work.

1000 miles since June. I am moving further from work, so my rate should go up from about 40-50 miles per week to 100-120 miles per week.

A little over 4000 km this year with about 2 weeks left before it's too cold and the snow falls. Of that 4000 km, 1000 km were on my new Kona Jake which I bought in September.

Whew! I saw "15514" and thought, "My GOD! How long is your daily commute???" Oh, ok, now I see....

About 1600 so far I think (the computer's downstairs on the bike); I hope to hit 2000 miles before year-end.

I think I drove once all year. My mileage would be higher but the The Kid made me work from home a lot when she was younger (teething, sick, you name it).

At 1600 miles since I bought my bike in April, started commuting in May, and changed work sites to a longer commute and been commuting every day since August.

Figure I'll hit around 2000 by the end of the year.

909 miles as it stands today. I'm hoping to get another 91 miles in the next couple of weeks. I'm pretty proud of my self since it is my first year commuting. My commute isn't an easy one either-for me at my age(50 plus). 4 mile commute each way. About 600-700 ft total elevation change in both directions(I believe). And traffic is about as bad as it can get although for most of it I'm on a paved shoulder. Don't let that fool ya.

I was almost hit by a young mother last week who thought she'd get around traffic by driving a couple hundred feet up the shoulder and then she pulled me over and complained about not being able to see me because of the glare. I was kind of stunned and speechless. I guess I must have shaken her up when she just missed running me over. I'm a moving Target on my ride. What's makes it worse is that I have to keep an eye on some of the questionable looking pedestrians. I've also had people buzz me on purpose as well as yell things. This is just outside Philly on West Chester Pike.

Everyday's an adventure.

2029 miles commuting since April. 54 total trips, about 50% of the days that I'm at work. If I could eliminate the days I don't ride because of lazy, then that should get up to 75-80%. Hopefully get over 2500 this year, but we'll see about weather, plus I have couple business trips and a vacation in there...

Bike is a 1993 Specialized Rockhopper

I started riding to school in late August, with a round trip of about ten miles. I have only racked up 310 miles, as of today, but I am going for 50 miles a week so I am not far off.
