Maruishi Frackers
A new addition to my Frackers Collection. After a new paint, polished rims, new stainless spokes, new Million white side tires, and newly painted baby carrier, here's the new look. I'm still looking for a stainless rear carrier.
Maruishi Frackers - Pearl Yellow Color, Size 24/26, Stainless Steel Rims / Spokes, Nexus 3-Speed Hub, Dynamo w/ Headlight, and OGK Baby Carrier. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3422/...6dcd49.jpg?v=0 |
A very practical bike ... until you have to fix a rear flat.

I have to give you guys props for riding in the streets of Manila. I was in Manila a few months back and there is no way I would ride the streets with those crazy drivers swerving all over the place(including a jeepney going up the sidewalk). Maybe with practice...Maybe... Sweet bike commuters. I love the looks of some of those racks.

Cateye Child Carrier
Just bought a surplus Cateye Child Carrier. Replacement for a child carrier on one of my commuter bicycles. It's compact in size not like the other carriers which are bulky in size. Photos to be taken by tomorrow.

This thread is never boring! Very interesting stuff.

Custom Commuter Bicycle
Bicycle frame came from an electric Yamaha PAS. I removed the battery compartments and installed stainless steel rims, spokes, basket and carrier. A Nexus 3-speed hub and dynamo hub were also installed. I previously used a mountain bike child carrier but it was so bulky and decided to place instead a Cat Eye Child carrier. Hardlock, bottle holder, anti-swing, and wheel reflectors were added.

Unidentified Folder Size 24
We just finished assembly of a newly painted size 24 folder. We were not able to identify the brand or model due to faded stickers. Perhaps anyone who sees this bicycle would identify it's brand or model.
I'll be taking pictures later this morning and post it after the shot. |

When I think of an air horn, I think of the horns on big transport trucks. Are the bicycle air horns loud like a truck horn? Thanks for your thread. It has been very educational. |

That one looks really nice. We used to have the Miyata brand here in the US. Maybe we still do. I don't know.

Bridgestone Travzone
This came a week ago and got it from the importer this morning. This bicycle will have changes in parts and dismantling was done this afternoon. Will look for new tires and rims and plating of some parts of the frame. The seat is not original. This is the before look and in 2 weeks parts would be completed for assembly.

how does your horn hold up in the rain? Is its operation hampered by water? Does it rust? Does your mount hold the pump without rotating around the handlebar? Are you happy with this horn? I've got one like that but I am hesitating with putting it to the actual use. The fact that it came without any mount does not help in that either. Thanks |

Never seen it or heard of it, and it's clear that they are aiming to look like a Raleigh.

Million Tires
It's good I still got an extra set of Million 24 x 1 3/8 tires as replacement for the 24 x 1 1/4 tires of the Bridgestone Travzone. Got a set of Ukai stainless steel rims 24 x 1 3/8 from a LBS which was newly polish to mount the Million tires. Will try if it fits the bicycle frame.
