I picked up a pair of "Waterproof, Breathable!" insulated gloves at a discount store a couple of years ago real cheap. Wore them to work one moderately cold day and it took them 2 full days to dry out. "Breathable"???

I'm surprised that you're too cold in the Gavias. It's not January yet, after all. You might try pairing them with a pair of glove liners (I like silk ones, personally) before you lay out more money on new gloves.

Meaning These?

Hm, yeah, I guess. Not sure about gloves with open backs though; I like a knit closure to keep the drafts out and my wrists warm. It was 7°F this morning on the way in. I might have to get the balaclava out soon!
