I'm not sure if they still are being produced but Zoom used to make some MTB bars called Brahma and Fastrak bars that had built in bar-end extensions. Perhaps some creative handlebar furniture arrangement could also be done with those.

I keep seeing these bars posted on ebay. I asked the seller if he had a brand or model for them and he didn't. Anyone have experience with these?

I run the bars so the ends are parallel with the ground and I've replaced the road brake levers with mountain-style levers, which are compatible with my 80's single-pivot brakes. I really like these bars- plenty of leverage for climbing and sprinting through traffic, and a good variety of positions to keep my piano-ticklers from going numb. Instead of grips, I use thick foam tape, which has held up really well over a year or so of solid commuting. I think of these bars as mini-bullhorns. |
These are super-expensive, put are adjustable and narrower than the other options. Anyone seen or used them?
