Planet Bike Super Flash Humorous review
From an anonymous purchaser on BikeWorld.com. Had to share this review:
This little light has flew off my bike twice due to hitting BIG pot holes(enough to give me a flat twice) both times I was going very fast. Needless to say the super flash hit the ground and broke into pieces. Both times I decided to try to retrieve the pieces and mange to find them all and put it back together. Both times and to this day the damn thing is still flashing as bright as ever.The greatest light EVER made.GOD BLESS PLANET BIKE.....AND AMERICA.....and beer.Thanks

Impressive that it still works after hitting the pavement like that, but it should never have flown off the bike in in the first place.

It doesn't work as well as the original without the reflector and diffuser, but it still gets me noticed during low-light commuting conditions. I have another one now, but still keep that one as a backup just in case.

Hm potholes that reminds me of my sunday ride following my wife and her dual dinottes.

And the guy has not figured out that it is easier to properly secure the light, than it is to find all the pieces after the light falls off, not to mention being unable to avoid the potholes.

Then the supports on my rear rack (the ones that hold the bike to the frame under the saddle) gave way, and the entire rack assembly fell backwards, dragging behind me along with a full touring load. The superflash came out of that just fine. Awesome light.

If he used a Mars 3.0 it wouldn't break into pieces when it hit the ground. Instead it would slide down the road still blinking.

ok.. so he hit a BIG pothole and got a flat tire, and he is worried about his light flying off?
Atleast he is concerned about safety riding with the PB SF while hitting potholes and (probably) drinking beer.

By "hitting BIG pot holes" this dude is referring to jumping off highway overpasses with his downhill bike at 70kph, naturally! He just happened to hit a pothole on the landing, twice

That's why I mounted lights on my bottom bracket pointing down, so I can avoid landing in potholes when I jump off highway overpasses and cliffs and such. Makes me spill my beer.
