Frame is a touch too small for me, but I don't care! Please, tell us more...are those 24" wheels? |

Made some recent changes...
Before: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/6...1922943ex9.jpg After new Thompson seatpost and stem, Marathon Racer 35c tires to replace the stock Specialized 42c, rear fender, front and rear lights, Bontrager Trekking handlebar, bell, mirror and grips. Just waiting on some pedals and a Selle An-Atomica seat... http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/5536/p1030547og7.jpg http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/6610/p1030546qt2.jpg |

Specialized sure does make some ugly forks though.
|
I sort of like that sword look. Or maybe its a shark tooth.
|
My tektro levers came in the mail today! Hopefully tomorrow my bar ends will be here and I can finally finish the flat to drop conversion...will have pics when finished!
|
I finally have my Long Haul Trucker to where I think it'll be for the next few hundred miles, so let's post some pics:

Thanks, I just sold my car so I am now completely car free (though I haven't driven since march).

Enough to make me slightly paranoid about locking it up outside, but that will subside, felt the same way when I first got the bike, ulock and a heavy arse chain are kinda nice....

Finally!!!!!!!!
I finally have the bike the way I want it! I just put new Tektro R200 Brake Levers, Suntour Bar End Shifters, Black cork bar tape, Brooks B17, and new brake/shifter cables and housing. Cleaned the bike really nicely (it was 67 degrees and sunny today!) and re-lubed everything. This is how it will stay for a long time. I am currently working on a set of Bontrager Race Wheels with knobby tires for the snowy/icy days, which we don't get many of in central KY.

They are super easy to use and with the friction shifting I never have to worry about chain rub. |
^ Looks much improved!!!
EDIT: You should move the computer mount closer to the stem so you have more bar top space. |

yes metalchef! Beautiful!

by the way those brake levers are awesome, I really dig the "flip of the switch" long travel vs. short travel, so useful and it adds a total of like 1 gram

Found this bike as a bare frame at our local CO-OP up a couple days ago and built it up last night, can not find any info about it anywhere. Sorry crappy camera pics. It's a 48 frame, but fits me great. At first I thought it was crossbike, but it's marked as a tourer. Anyone have any info on it. I did the usual Google search, nothing. Anyways it will be my new tourer/commuter/crossbike. Also posted in Touring and Cross.
