Cool bag. What is it? If you load it up too much, does it rub on your tire?
It's actually a DIY, formerly a camera bag, bag. It doesn't rub on tire (anymore). I had to experiment and modify the bag as I tried it out to get it just right. |
Nice work. I see you are a new user, if you have photos showing how you converted the camera bag for bike use, and your gradual modifications, you should write up a little photo essay in a separate post.

It's basically a boat cleat attached to a dowel inside the bag...and a lot of stitching. |
My ride. Its 16 miles one way to work, so i need to get there as fast as possible when i do ride.

Took Big Bird to work today since my usual commuter has a wobbly wheel that needs fixin. |
Surly Crosscheck single speed. Works well for a "grocery" getter with the milk crate removed.

Here's a quick shot of my Scott Sub Evo 20. Had it about 2 weeks and about 200 miles on it. Great bike. If it was 5 pounds lighter it's would be ridiculous.

Been riding my daily commute on this for the past four months and absolutely love it!
Only mod is the saddle - a Rido R2 May need to add some mudguards for winter but an ass saver, saddle bag, water bottle and lights plus a small rucksack are all I really need for now. http://dev.nowtravelinsurance.com/re...erge-sport.jpg |

I'll play! My daily ride to and from work. It's not the lightest or fastest in the stable but by far the most functional, especially when I add the panniers, so it gets the most mileage these days:

I picked up an old Trek 950 on Craigslist for $35. Didn't really use any of the original parts but had enough on hand to make it a 1x8 drop bar commuter. The gearing is a 38T up front and a 12-21T 8sp rear. The odd curvature of the front mudguard is because I put on an old set of 700cs I've had lying around for a long time. I know the rear derailleur looks awful but I already had it and it works!
