Tire size question

I have a Trek SU 2.0 that has 26 x 1.5 Bontrager Satellite tires.

Can I put 26 x 1.75 Schwalbe Marathons on this? LBS has a pair or 26 x 1.75 for almost nothing.

As long as you have 1/8" clearance on each side, and 1/4" on the top (tread side).

You will love the Schwalbes....get 'em before they are gone.

The 26 x 1.75 should work just fine on that bike with the stock rims and disc brakes, provided you have clearance at the chain stays for the tire. I say go for it.

Thanks guys. Got the 26 x 1.75's and they fit perfectly and they ride so much better than those Bontrager Satellites. I bet I don't have 300 km on those Bontragers and they almost look they're worn out.

I'm a Schwalbe junkie anyway. All my bikes have some brand of Schwalbe tire on them.
