PI Cyclone gloves durability?
This is my 3rd winter using my PI Cyclone full-finger gloves, total of probably 1,500-2,000 miles, and they are wearing out at the base of the fingers on the palm side. Gaping holes.
It seems too early for this kind of wear. The rest of my PI gear, including summer gloves, are holding up well.
These were an REI purchase, so I couldreturn them, but I will only do that if this is a case of unacceptably low durability.
What's your experience?

I crashed while wearing my Pearl Izumi Inferno gloves, and they have a hole in them now. The accident wasn't much of anything, so I was surprised by the hole and a little disappointed.

I'm 2 seasons into a pair of PI Cyclones and don't notice any undue wear and tear on them. (Probably 2500 miles of riding with them.) The only damage is that the bias trim at the wrist has separated a little bit at the "pull tab" section where I'm constantly, well, pulling on them to put them on and take them off.
I'd bring them back if they're wearing through at the palms. Sounds like a defective pair.
