Forgot my underwear

I've been meaning to keep spare clothes at work, but have never got around to it. Now I'm sitting at my desk with no underwear under my dress slacks.

Mentally, it's uncomfortable. Physically, it feels good.

I feel very uncomfortable now. Why did I click the link .... dear lord WHY!?

timothyday 02-19-09 09:24 AM

I forgot my undershirt one day last week. Very strange sensation after wearing one every day for so many years.

MrRamonG 02-19-09 09:36 AM

The worst is when you forget your undies and a belt. Yup, spare clothes at the office are a must.

MrRamonG 02-19-09 09:38 AM

Good thing you're not wearing a dress, you might repeat the Fatal Attraction scene and get a new nickname at the office.

Hot Potato 02-19-09 10:29 AM

Please, I am begging you, no Pics!

Hmmm...can't help but notice your avatar...

I forgot 2 days ago but I do leave a spare set in the filing cabinet. Now I am working w/o a net but have not forgotten again yet.

FredOak 02-19-09 11:09 AM

I keep an extra set at work no matter what I lug back and forth. Keep 2 belts and two pair of shoes too. Anything to cut some of the weight down as I often ride in the weeks clothes rather then drive.

Gratuitous beaver shots. :thumb::love::innocent:

On the serious side of this if you wear bike shorts you could always just wear those as underwear. I have had to that when I fogot mine. Works well in a pinch.

I feel sorry for someone else who has to open the file cabinet. I would not keep them these. Instead have a small bag that personally belongs to you with extra things that you need in it.

capejohn 02-19-09 11:23 AM

Could this become your new fashion?

If I wore a dress, I'd get a new nickname whether I was wearing underwear or not. :)

Luckily, I did remember my belt, and I leave my work shoes here. Nobody at work knows that I'm commando :)

I was wearing bicycling tights on the way in, and considered wearing them under the pants, but they are padded, and it might have looked funny.

It's happened so many times it's not worthy of a post anymore.

Ummm...maybe you might want to re-phrase this statement? :p This thread is becoming a Beavis and Butthead episode I think. :D

rnorris 02-19-09 12:36 PM

:D You're not a true commuter until you've done that at least once.

I'm lucky at work, have a big cabinet of my own that I hang extra clothes in for various uses- from fieldwork to formal meetings.

Hirohsima 02-19-09 01:27 PM

Its worse when you forget your towel.

Its NOT fun drying your hair and body off with paper towels.... and have to walk naked and wet into the common area to grab a bunch of paper towels.

Underwear can be hidden, walking wet and naked out of the shower stalls is significantly less fun.

But, enjoy your commando day!

I've seen some guys in a gym I used to use that would vehemently disagree! Struttin' around naked, talkin' it up like it's no big deal...propping one leg up on the bench to use the blow dryer on their...stuff.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term blow job, doesn't it? Oh come on, you know most of us were thinking this, I was just the first to say it. :innocent::roflmao2:

ever split the seams on your work pants. Always take underwear.. Only once did I forget underwear. I substituted a clean pair of bike shorts. Maybe that felt more weird than going without. ?. But, at least that day , i did not split me seams.
