Anyone use Rans Crescent panniers?

These are streamlined panniers. The price is a bit higher than similarly sized panniers. I'm just wondering if anyone's tried them since I'm thinking of using a pair for commuting - I don't need to haul that much stuff for a day at work.

I wonder what the build quality is like on these. They just might be the solution to a long existing problem (heel strike).

I don't have any of their bicycle gear, but I do own some motorcycle panniers and tank bag from their parent company, Chase Harper, and those are quite nice. I have checked out some of their other brands in stores, such as Snow Peak and Pacsafe and everything I have seen has been well made.
