What is the most (or least) you've spent on a bike tire?

I just ordered some road slicks on sale at $17.99 each (Vittoria's). The most I paid was all but $30/each for some cyclocross tires for winter use. There's some deals out there if you plan (and buy) ahead.

$40 for some gatorskins. I've paid over $100 each for some tubular tires for racing though. Thank goodness I don't do that anymore.

Least was $7 for some hybrid tires from Nashbar.

I've spent as little as $11.00 for a 27" Forte and as much as $82 for a studded Schwalbe

most $15 on ebay for a weird sized tire

least $5 each at the swapmeet for cheap kenda tires. These lasted over twice as long as the $15 one by the way.

average $8-$9 each, but i get cheap tires from the swapmeet.

gatorskins are $39 at the LBS. That's the tire I purchased most recently.

They don't seem to be any cheaper online.

$45 for Armadillos. I probably could have gotten them cheaper online, but since it was to replace a destroyed tire (side wall tear) I didn't have the luxury of time, so I bought them from the LBS. They've more than paid for themselves by having only single flat (compared to 2-3/mo with my old, cheap tires).

$7.99 for a Forte' for a MTB at Performance.

$10.99 for a Forte' Gotham city for my Commuter and I am actually very happy with it.
https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=5425
And who actually makes it. https://www.panaracer.com/urban.php its a Pannaracer Crosstown
https://www.rei.com/product/764323

Only difference I can see is the Forte branded version doesn't have a reflective sidewall stripe. Nice thick tread. 500 or so miles so far and no flats.

$99 each for a pair of Schwalbe Ice Spikers. I only used them for one season before getting some used Snow Studs at $25 each.

Most was $57 each for conti GP4000. I paid $3 a pair for some older Conti GP3000 at the local thrift store, does that count. From a retail outlet about $5 each for low end house branded 27" tires from Nashbar or Performance on sale with a 20% off coupon.

Just paid $22 each for a set of 28's. Free shipping because I ordered some other stuff.

--------

Cheapest: Forte Fast City (worth about what I paid for them ~$7)
Most Expensive: Schwalbe Ultremo or Marathon Supreme... neither really worth the price premium.

Spent $60-something each on Schwalbe Marathon Supremes sometime last year. I thought it was ridiculous as the last car tires I bought were $41ea. So typically overkill of me, too.

40 something on a maxxis hookworm

10 bucks on a bmx tire

10 bucks on a piece of crap 26 inch skinny slick, it ate enough tubes to make it self cost damn near what a good tire costs.

Racing Silk Tubulars back in the 70's were pushing $100 a piece Cheapest would be free as in someone gave me a bike with brand new Kendas on it that fit my daily rider, so it was switcharoo time I don't worry too much about price, I just buy what I want/need and figure I get my moneys worth. I would definitely pay more for a Schwalbe than a Kenda

I don't keep track of such things to be honest. I suppose the $20 +$4 shipping for my Schwalbe Delta Cruisers for my Raleigh DL-1 would be the most per tire.
