Chainguards

Is there an aftermarket chainguard for an old MTB Chromoly frame? Where can I buy it over the internet?

Thanks,

RR

What do you mean by chainguard? A ring or some hood that covers all your chain?

Sugino makes something that might fit. I think there's also stuff on Ebay.
Good lucky

Can't say that I've ever seen 'em up close and personal, but SKS makes some; http://www.sks-germany.com/sks.php?l...&r=chainguards

I meant the long hood. Other than SKS what manufacturers make 'em. And most important, where to get them online?

Thanks!

If you're wiling to give up your front derailer, Wald makes a simple hockey stick style chainguard that works. Velo-Orange has a similar one, but with much nicer mounting hardware.

I'd avoid the wald, I actually tore through two of them in as many weeks before I realized I should stop buying them.

Here is a link to an importer of the Hebie Chaingliders and chainguards. Thinking of getting a Chainglider for my Swobo Dixon. Only for FG/SS/IGH bikes so far as I can see.

Just tried to order from Bikefront, but got this message. Any other ideas of where to get the Hebie Chainglider??

BikeFront.com will be temporarily ceasing all sales.
Expect us back late Spring 09. Thanks for your support and understanding
