Need input on our next long-term test bike
At Austin On Two Wheels, we've just gotten done testing an Azor Secret Service dutch bike over the last seven months and now it's time for us to get a new long-term test bike. We wanted to open it up to the commuter cycling community and get input on what bikes people are really interested in learning about right now.That's pretty much the full explanation, but I wanna hear what y'all have to say, so please either comment below or follow the thread at our site here.
I hope we can pick something that will really help a lot of people pick out their next commuter.

Try to get your hands on a Trek Soho or District. We're all curious as to how the belt drive will work out..

I second the nomination for the District or Soho by Trek. I'd love to hear about the belt drive performance, when it's put through a tough test.

So far I would say that the SOHO is drawing the most interest. I think you guys are right, that belt drive is something really different to evaluate. I'm gonna post on it today and see if there are any more suggestions that get more than one vote.

Another vote for anything belt drive.

Another vote for belt drive, particularly the Trek Soho. It has lowrider mounts on the fork. I'd like to see how it handles with front and rear racks and panniers. It seems like a relatively affordable option for commuting and hauling stuff.
