Why!?!?!
I'm in my office looking out the window and see snow. Lots, and lots of snow.
It's the middle of April, who forogt to update the weather? Does this somehow have to do with the recession since nature can't afford the workforce to switch season?

I'd be on the slopes and not in the office!

You have a window in your office? What I wouldn't give for a window in my office.

I start a new job tomorrow. I suspect that I'll have no windows.

Nope. It doesn't, at all. For some reason I think, that just maybe, you didn't think it would help at all either!!
The snow has melted and maybe I take for granted the fact that I have an office with windows, on 2 walls even! Until I get slicks I am avoiding riding in deeper snow/ice since I've ate it too many times w/o them.

Somedood:
I feel your pain. Living in SLC reeks havoc on my senses. Freezing-snowing one day, nice and beautiful the next. It is supposed to reach 80 degrees today! Go Earth!
By the way, have you noticed how many tragic accidents have occurred lately between bicyclists and motorists in the Wasatch Front area? Good heavens, the stats are not in my favor as a two-wheeled commuter.
Best of luck with riding, I hear rain is in the forecast for this weekend.
Peace

I bet you have more changeable weather in Utah than they do in Colorado. I have friends in the Denver area, and the stories of their weather are hilarious.
I remember watching the weatherman in Denver once, when I was there on business. "We're going to have a little snow tonight. Not much. Maybe about 12 or 13 inches." Hahahahaha. I'm not even kidding.

the theory behind global warming predicts more variability, not just hotter weather. My friend told me his lunchtime ride today was 105F. My ride today was 42F, Friday it should be 72.

... it's snowing AGAIN.
I hate Calgary... and this has nothing to do with climate change; it's apparently always been like this here.

As long as it doesn't come east. For the next four, five days we're going to be in the mid to high 20's and on Sunday it's going to feel more like 30
