a dresser for work!
So I have accumulated quite the collection of clothing at work. Shorts; cargos; jeans; shirts; socks & shoes. I have been using a plastic bin I found in the boiler room, but now I think I need a dresser. Maybe I'll just get a couple of plastic drawers.
Anyone actually purchase something for keeping clothes at work? |
I keep my bike in an empty cube, next to my cube. The file cabinet drawers are great for storing clothes, bike tools, and toiletries.

I asked for an extra file cabinet, and use that. It's a three-drawer cabinet that sits under my desktop. I just didn't tell my manager that it was essentially for clothes. :rolleyes: But we had extras anyway, so I'm not costing the company or depriving a co-worker...

I use an empty filing cabinet drawer, and some space on top of some document storage boxes under one wing of my L-shaped desk.
I have a friend with a smaller office space that gets by nicely with a travel carrier for shirts and hanging clothes. The type that business people put their suits in and carry with them on an airplane? He keeps spare socks and undies in the bottom, and hangs a couple of pairs of slacks 2-3 shirts in there. It all hangs on the coat rack near the door, and looks like someone just got back from a trip. It works well. |
We will have lockers. They are being installed for field workers but it looks like there will be a few left over for office staff bike commuters.

I use a file cabinet drawer for my used work clothes. When it's full, I take stuff home. (Or when I start running out of clothes...)

I just bought a nice wood 2 drawer lateral file that matches my desk. Its only purpose is to house my clean and dirty clothes. Top drawer clean, bottom drawer dirty. Swap the stuff out on days that I drive which hasn't been very often lately.
