looking for bash guard for 48T 110 bcd chain ring

I'm getting this new crankset for my commuter:

Anyone care to recommend a bash guard to keep my pants from getting caught in the chain ring. The stuff turned up in my searches such as BBG and e13 are designed for mountain biking which I believe must be mounted in place of the outer ring. I want to something that can be *attached* to the ring. Thanks!

I've looked, but 44 is the largest bashguard I could find.

running as a double or a single? if you run just a single ring, buy a bigger chainring and pop the teeth off, then file and polish, run the toothed ring on the inside of the spider and the chainguard on the outside.

I did that on one 130mm BCD crankset to end up with a guard. The chainring on the inner mount also improved the chainline on the bike which is a IGH conversion of a originally FG frame.

Based on my searches disc type chainguards top out at 44 teeth as another poster noted.

why not? http://www.velo-orange.com/suchgu.html

you can buy longer bolts for the chainring as well as chainring spacers from loosescrews

Found one at VO! They did not have the larger size when I looked before.

From the photo it looks to me like it is dished so fits on top of the outer ring. Wish they had a 130 BCD version.

Found one 130 bcd. 1/8" thick aluminium.

The Sugino will work and match what you have, but BBG does do custom.

I needed a 38t before he started carry them. No problem

Same here, I have been looking for 48T chainring guard, no luck.

Duh! I just ordered a crankset from them but didn't bother to look more closely at their website. I could have saved a buck or two on shipping $.
to Bekologist this is a double setup.

D'you suppose that 48-50T chainguard will work with a triple-crank? The spacing and number of bolts matches up with my FSA Triple, but I don't want to go and spend the money on something that turns out not to fit.
