I've got a big grease stain on my right leg
I've also ruined many a pair of pants from the pantleg getting caught in the teeth.
Are there any products which would fix this?

I use velcro cable straps, they're cheap and easy to carry around. Just loosely gather your pants around your leg and use the straps to hold it together.

Another possibility is to wear your pants backwards on alternate days and get matching grease marks on both pant legs; very fashionable in certain circles.

Your chain doesn't need to be dripping with oil to run efficiently. I've run this stuff on my bicycles for about 15 years now and it lives up to its claims. No need to do the weekly chain cleaning.

The velcro strap (many of them have reflective tape, too) is my fave for keeping pants out of the way. Rubber bands have worked in a pinch, but can restrict circulation if they're not large enough.

once it is on
I've had some luck with strong detergent (citra solve) to soak pants first then wash, repeat (don't dry until you've either given up or its out).
We also use the less "green" spray oxi clean - but certainly better than getting new pants. good luck.

Am I the only one to tuck my dress pants into my sock?
I have tryed the reflective velcro and it ends up sliding down to my ankle, still have to tuck in.

I would think you wouldn't want to fiddle with (and have) a band/strap every time you hop on the bike. I'd get a chain guard. The OGK one, https://store.somafab.com/ogkchainguards.html, is fairly simple to install and works with derailers.

Those are fairly nice... what are they? (I presume you slide them over the cuff after folding it over)?
