Who cares if you're riding in a sidewalk or not! I mean, why should anyone in the motor vehicle ask?

We're not "IN THE WAY" -- WE ARE THE WAY!
Because drivers think they own the road, and the 3rd most intense primal drive in humans, after survival and reproduction, is getting in someone else's business.

I've never really ridden a bike outside of a neighborhood, so I'm curious about the shoulder lane between the sidewalk and solid white line in this video. Is there a reason not to ride there? Is it too narrow? Is there too much debris?

The point of my video is that cyclists when riding like vehicles are capable of quite fast speeds comparable to slow cars. The speed limit on that bridge is 40 mph and when I am climbing it I typically am only doing 10. But I rarely get honks or anyone buzzing me.
