Cool! I just doubled my commute.

I moved into a new house yesterday which bumps my commute to about 7 1/2 miles. This morning was my first morning and it was great! Not only is it longer it's more scenic so it's a win-win for me. I will say, however, that I'm not so sure I will be fixie(ing) it as much though. My soho seems like a better fit for the job.

and my ride...

here's another way to extend your commute- take the long way! my commute to work by motorcycle is only 3 miles, but on the way home i can easily make it 50 miles.

congrats, destikon. - looking at your map there it looks like you are taking some larger roads, instead of the smaller sideways. can you ride through those parks?

There's a very simple way to double your commute: ride home for lunch.

Congrats on the nicer ride. Looks like you still have a short option for bad weather days.

Thanks for the words everyone.
@JPprivate: Unfortunately I'm stuck on the roads. But, I do have about 3 of those miles with awesome MUP's which is great.
