Nice bike! Great ride! Amazing how little traffic you encounter even that early.
The wide angle is really cool. I like how you can see the bars all the time, although it would be nice to have the option to not see them.
Did you run a stop sign in the first two minutes or so, or did that car stop for nothing? I did not see a sign or light but the car came to a dead stop. (Sorry, I missed the time stamp).

thanks for the ride. Cool camera. I wanted one for Christmas last year. Maybe this year.

I angled it that way on purpose. I like the whole POV thing. I think it makes it more immersive for the viewer. The scenary isn't good enough to stand on it's own, plus the picture is grainy. I think it keeps people more likely to continue viewing. That is my theory. Plus I like see my front tire to see what lines I pick and why, and when I chose to move my hand positions. Part of it is for my viewer and part of it is for me. I learn from watching them.
There was a traffic light, turned green just as I approached.
Yeah it was dead quiet that morning on the paths. Sure it was wet, but not that cold. I didn't see anyone cycling. That will change in a couple weeks. I ride through our university and college campuses. They will teaming with people soon, making PR breaking runs not advisable. The trade off will be the eye candy strolling around. Yummy university and college girls.

Prefers Cicero
Enjoyable. the only part where I cringed was the sidewalk section with limited visibility at 16:20. Having been hit by a bike while walking on a sidewalk...well, you know.

The gizmo you use sounds expensive...I was hoping you maybe jerry-rigged a cheap P&S digicam with video to your helmet or something.

You're so sweet. I was riding further out from the curb than I would on a dry day, plus I'm sure they were pissed off by my manuver at the light.

Oh man I would love to ride on those streets... I barely get 11 mph average on my commute in Philly due to the stoplights at every single block and the heavy traffic.

I think a 25mph average is possible for that route with my 25mm road tires as opposed to my cross knobbies and my current level of fitness. Traffic lights and traffic flow would need to be perfectly in my favour. Unless I pull some Joey's.
