diy bike maintenance stand

sorry if this has been up before, but i just whipped up this bike maintenance stand and had to recommend it, easy as pie to build, cost about $60 and 1 hour labor...

It doesn't have a clamp - the top tube rests on the pipes at the top of the stand.

the top tube rests on the pipes, i attached mine with a length of rope to the vertical pipe to keep it stable. i got a clamp but it was the wrong size...there's pics further down the page of the type of clamp that can be used.
