I'm building an xtracycle out of a giant seek 2.

Questions:

1. How long was your rear brake cable on your xtracycle? I'm looking for total length, as I'm trying to make sure I have enough hydraulic line for the rear disc brakes.
2. Given those two parts (and that the xtracycle bags will be black and red), should I use red cable or black?

Also, if anyone has any insight on juicy 3 re-hosing or hydraulic brake use with xtracycles, please drop me a line at my other thread.

I didn't use disc brakes, but mixing reds is never a good plan.

I used mechanical disc brakes on mine, with tandem length cables, it worked for me. I imagine using hydraulic lines is a lot trickier. As far as cable color goes, you can't go wrong with black.
Have you posted on the rootradicals board. They deal with a lot of Xtracycle specific issues there.
