Speedplay Frog Pedals

I am thinking about getting a pair of speedplay frogs for the road bike I use to commute (right now I have toe clips). I was wondering if anyone had any input on them.

Thanks for any feedback!

They're awesome just like all speedplay pedals.
The good thing about frogs is they are meant for mountain bike shoes with recessed clips, making walking around much easier than road shoes.

I tried them for a week and returned them. Very soft mount with lots of float. I never knew if I was "in" or not. I prefer a solid snap-in click (ultegra 6620 (roadie) and shimano 520 (touring).
Mine is clearly a minority opinion as these are a very popular pedal.

The float is the best part imho. It's like riding platform pedals but you are locked in. Very cool.
And they are one of the easiest clipless pedal I've had to get in and out of, yet they are super secure.
I've never had a problem knowing if I was clipped in or not, always a solid click.
I just sold my shimano ultegra 6620 set because they were a super PITA to get in and out of, even on the lightest setting and if I didn't hit the pedal just right, my foot literally slipped off the pedal like it was ice. Man did I hate those things. Just not a fan of the Look style pedals.

+1 to the Frog love. Great pedals - have them on my MTB and there is nothing about them that I wish was better/different.

Yeah I just took out the roadie today which has Zeros, but I wanted to share in the Speedplay love. Saving up for some Frogs to put on the commuter... but I need mountain shoes too so it might be awhile.
