Panaracer T-Serv Protex tires

Has anyone tried the new Panaracer T-Serv Protex tires yet? I'm curious how they compare to the regular T-Serv (which I've been using for a few years, and really like), since I'm likely to be wanting a new set of commuting tires in the near future.

I can see that the new beastie is a bit heavier, but most of the other differences listed on their website are a bit difficult to interpret.

Thanx!

Yes, I have been running T-Serv's and needed a replacement for one that had been cut through the casing, so I got a Protex in 700x28. I see Conti and other brands using a Protex sidewall also, so I gather it is some proprietary branded cut and puncture resistant belt material. I was loving the TServ's and have gone through 3 pairs, but I was having some sidewall cuts and instances where the kevlar was protruding through, so hopefully the Protex will solve those issues. No real noticeable difference from the old Tserv's - tread pattern is exactly the same - ride is the same - if there is a weight difference, it isn't anything you feel. I'd say it's exactly the same tire with (hopefully) an improved sidewall.

I have been running these tires for about 4 months. I am mainly a rec rider that rides through gravel and glass occasionally. So far, so good with my 28s!!
Any updates?

I just picked up a pair (700x28C, black w/reflective sidewall) from my LBS the other day, but haven't had a chance to put them on the bike yet... hopefully sometime during the weekend. At first glance, however, they do appear to be a a bit stouter than the non-Protex version, so I have relatively high hopes.
